"Varicolored Gold Flowers" Breguet à Paris, Swiss, No. 5182. Made for the Islamic market, circa 1840. Very fine and extremely rare, 18K three-color gold, carillon minute-repeating pocket watch with three hammers striking on two gongs.

C. Three-body, lobed, florally chased and engraved three-color gold relief floral decoration. Hinged engine-turned gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Islamic numerals, outer minute track with Islamic quarters. Gold Breguet hands. M. 48 mm. (22???), gilt brass, jeweled to the third, cylinder escapement, standing barrel, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator, repeating on two gongs with three hammers activated with a pulland- twist piston in the pendant. Dial and cuvette signed, movement numbered 33681 under the dial. Diam. 57 mm. Property of an Italian Collector
