A un Monsieur qui n'a pas donné son nom. Watch No. 4731, sold on 15 June 1832 for the sum of 1500 Francs. Small gold "simple" watch with eccentric dial, set to time through the band. Original Breguet gold short chain and male key.

Case: 18 ct., three body, quatre baguettes form, by Joly, No.618, engine-turned à grains d'orge. Gold cuvette signed: "Breguet No. 4731".
Dial: Eccentric, engine-turned silver, signed: " Breguet", with Roman numerals on a plain reserve. Gold Breguet hands.
Movement: Gilt brass, 13"', extra flat bar caliber, the barrel with female winding square, overhanging ruby cylinder escapement, threearm plain gold balance, with parachute on the top pivot. Blued-steel flat balance spring.
In very good condition. In a Breguet red leather fitted case from Desoutter. Diam. 34 mm.

Notes

History: According to the repair records this watch was returned to the workshops for overhaul on 3 October 1838, at the request of Madame Poolmer.
Note: Setting to time is accomplished using the male key in a square recessed in the band of the case.
