Breguet No 986, rue Edouard VII No 2, Paris, sold to Monsieur Jean Dolfus on February 1st 1926, in original red leather covered fitted case, with the Breguet certificate No 2691 and a 1st class certificate from the Observatory of Neuchâtel delivered on December 23rd 1925. Very important and fine 18ct gold keyless pocket chronometer with a one minute tourbillon regulator.

Four body massive "bassine" polished case. Gold glazed cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. Extremely fine rhodium plated 20"' movement by Victorin Piguet, "fausses côtes" decoration, 19 jewels, two gold screwed settings. One minute tourbillon driven by the minute wheel, with a three equidistant armed polished steel carriage. Lateral lever escapement, with a brass-invar Guillaume balance adjusted to all positions and temperatures, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial and on the movement. In very good condition. Diam.:56 mm.
