Hump-Back Clock with Chronograph and Thermometer Breguet, No. 1544AB. Made in circa 2000. Very fine and rare, silver and gilt, hump-back carriage clock with chronograph, progressive central minute register and thermometer. Accompanied by the Breguet box, certificate, key and chain.
C. Hump-back with rounded polished borders, reeded sides, two ring loops for the chain, recessed turned feet, hinged back door, button to operate the chronograph on the top of the case. D. Silver, radial Roman numerals on a brushed chapter ring, outer dot minute and seconds divisions on a brushed reserve, engine-turned center. Sector dial below for the thermometer calibrated from 10-40 degrees Centigrade and 50-104 degrees Fahrenheit, engine-turned gilt mask. Blue enameled Breguet hour and minute hands, chronograph and register hands, serpentine thermometer hand. M. Cal. 564, 21???, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes and oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 1 position, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, winding from the back. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 13.5 cm x 9.3cm x 5.7cm.
