Watch with Five Complications Breguet, No. 3466, sold to Monsieur Vangohechen on September 4, 1880 for 3100 francs. Very fine, 18K rose gold, hunting-cased, keyless,minute-repeating watch with triple date calendar and phases and age of the moon.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", engine-turned on both covers, the front with an engraved monogram, polished band. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic numerals, three subsidiary dials for days of the week, date, seconds concentric with moon?s age, apertures for the phases of the moon and the months below 12 o'clock. Blued steel spade hands. M. 42,8 mm, frosted gilt brass, 23 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Cuvette signed. Diam. 55 mm.
