Split-Second Chronograph Breguet, No. 4843, case No. 56224. Made circa 1920. Very fine and rare, keyless, 18K yellow gold pocket watch with oval button split-seconds chronograph and instantaneous 30-minute register.

C. Four-body, "bassine", polished, the back engraved with a coat of arms beneath a Vicomte?s coronet and the motto ?Omne Pro Gallia?, concealed hinge. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute and fifths of a second chronograph divisions, subsidiary seconds dial at 6, 30-minute register at 12. Gold spade hands. M. Cal. 18''', rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph mechanism. Dial and cuvette signed and numbered. Diam. 50 mm.
