D. silver, Roman chapters, outer dot minute divisions, "guilloché" center. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. M. 35.8 mm. (16'''), gilt brass, bridge caliber, ruby cylinder escapement, plain, three-arm balance with pare-chute on the top pivot with blued steel flat balance spring, escapement jeweled.Signed on the dial and cuvette, movement numbered on the pillar plate under the dial.Diam. 46 mm.

Notes

When Monsieur Antoine Jobal ordered the watch he requested that the dial bear his name which happened to have twelve characters instead of numerals. A subsequent owner, not wanting someone else's name on the dial, ordered a new one. The story is told by Emmanuel Breguet in his book Breguet, Watchmakers since 1775, Paris, 1997, p. 296, where the sketch of the watch from the archives is shown as well.
