Trip Minute-Repeating - Breguet Numerals Swiss. Made circa 1920. Very fine and very rare, 18K yellow gold, trip minute-repeating, keyless pocket watch with single train, built to the design of Swiss patent No. 5128.
C. Four body, "demi-bassine", polished, semi-concealed hinge. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 38 mm., 17???, rhodium-plated, 23 jewels, single large barrel powering both trains, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the button on winding crown. Front plate punched with Swiss Patent No. 5128. Diam. 48 mm.
