Double-body, Louis XVI, the bezels with chased and engraved leaf and berry decoration, the back with an oval painted on enamel depiction of a couple seated on a bench in a landscape, border with multicolored gold paillons. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals,outer minute divisions with Arabic fifteen minutes. Gold beetle and poker hands. M. 44 mm., hinged, gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, chain fusée, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring and pierced and engraved continental cock with polished steel endplate. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 52 mm.
