Head and truncated bust, finely cast and finished, the base with wooden insert. Dim. 19 x 10.4 x 9 cm. In very good condition, fine original patination.
Notes
These fine small bronzes of Abraham-Louis Breguet
were produced just after his death. The original model
was sculpted by Jean-Antoine Houdon and is now in the
collection of the Bibliothèque de l?Observatoire in Paris.
