Breguet Mahogany Chamber Clock Breguet. Made circa 1810. Fine and rare mahogany, eight-day going, hour and half hour striking transportable chamber clock.
C. Rectangular solid mahogany with sliding rear door, four fine ormolu paw feet and gilt brass glazed bezel secured by two sliding latches on the inside of the case. D. White enamel, covex with Breguet numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Large brass hexagonal, going barrels for both the going and the striking trains, anchor escapement, brass bob pendulum with silk suspension and sprung locking device for transport, knurled button on the back plate for setting the hands, outside countwheel for the striking on a bell. Signed on the dial and back plate. Dim. 28.5 x 18 x 13.5 cm.
