Breguet Ref. 3040 Serpentine - Enamel Dial Breguet "Serpentine," No. 4895, Ref. 3040. Made in the 1990s. Very fine and unusual astronomic, self-winding, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with date, moon phases, age of the moon and an 18K yellow gold Breguet deployant clasp.

C. Three-body, solid, polished, ridged band, straight lugs, screwed bars, cabochon sapphire-set winding-crown, sapphire crystal. D. White enamel with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute track, concentric graduation for the date, aperture for the moon phases and graduation for the age of the moon. Blued steel Breguet hands, blued steel serpentine hand for the date. M. Cal. 12''' rhodium-plated, 35 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring.
