C. Two-body, ?Louis XVI?, the back with a finely painted on enamel scene of two maidens in a landscape, gold paillon border, the bezel decorated with gold laurel and berry repeated pattern. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, Arabic quarter-hour numerals. Gold pierced hands. M. 43 mm., frosted gilt, full plate, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance with flat balance spring, continental balance cock with steel endplate, silver regulation dial. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 53 mm.
