Swiss ? Half-Skeletonized Quarter Repeating Watch Breguet à Paris, Swiss. Made circa 1820. Fine, thin, 18K gold, quarter-repeating, half- skeletonized pocket watch.
C. Three-body, ?Directoire?, the back engraved with an altar of love, engine-turned border, fluted band. Spring-loaded gilt-rimmed cuvette. D. White enamel, annular with Arabic hour numerals and outer minute track, center disclosing the repeating work. Blued steel Breguet. M. 24???, Gilt brass, skeletonized and foliate engraved, going barrel, cylinder escapement with steel escape wheel, plain steel three-arm balance with flat balance spring, index regulator, repeating on steel gongs with visible shaped hammers activated by depressing the pendant.
