Two-body, the back set with a painted on enamel of a shepherd and shepherdess in a glade against a royal blue translucent enamel background, gold paillon border, the outer rim inset with gold filigree intersected by pearls, the bezel decorated to match. D. White enamel with upright Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic quarter-hour numerals, winding aperture at 2. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 45 mm., matte gilt half-plate with further half-plate bridge to secure the barrel, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental pierced and engraved cock, index regulator. Dial and movement signed. DIAM. 55.5 mm.
