C. Four-body, "bassine", polished, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute and seconds divisions with five-minute/seconds Arabic figures. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 50 mm. (22'''), rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 19 jewels, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature and mean time screws and sunken arm in the center for blued steel free-sprung helical balance spring.Signed on dial and movement, case punched with "ER" casemaker's mark.Diam. 63 mm.

Most deck watches are either in silver or steel. In addition, Breguet made very few deck watches, whatever the material. Therefore, this one, in a gold case, with spring detent escapement and center-seconds, would appear to be unique.
