Breguet, No. 2910, sent to Wenham on 12 June 1816, for 1300 Francs. Fine, small 20K gold watch with regulator type dial, accompanied by Breguet Certificate.
C. Three body, "forme quatre baguettes" No. 3410, by Tavernier with engine turned band, the back engine-turned in a striped pattern and protected by glass. Gold, detached cuvette with winding and regulating apertures. D. Silver, engine-turned with eccentric small Roman hour chapter ring set at the right, and symmetrical Arabic minute ring at the left, stamped on the reversed by Tavernier. Blued steel Breguet hands, the minute with a small hole in its socket for setting. M. 36 mm. (16???), gilt brass with hanging barrel, overhanging ruby cylinder escapement (sapphire insert), three-arm gold balance with pare-chute suspension, blued steel flat balance spring with regulator. Signed on the dial and cuvette, case stamped with watch and case serial numbers, casemaker?s stamp and French gold marks. Diam. 39 mm.
