Breguet, "HORger DE LA MARINE ROYALE", No. 3535, sold to Count Malicheff on 11 April, 1820 for 1320 francs.Very fine and rare 20K gold pendant watch with eccentric dial, accompanied by a short gold chain and gold Breguet key, in Breguet Morocco fitted box.

Silver, champlevé radial Roman numeralson brushed ring, outer minute divisions, engine-turned center and lower border. Gold Breguet hands.M. 30.4 mm. (12'''), gilt brass, hanging barrel, ruby cylinder escapement, gold three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, 8-tooth escape wheel set in unusual way under the dial, jeweled balance with parechute on the top pivot. Notes

Count Malicheff bought at least four watches from Breguet in 1820 and in 1821, all small like this one. One of them was delivered through Prince Nicolas Troubetzkoi, who was aide-de-camp of Tsar Alexander I and his chief intelligence officer.
