Breguet a Paris, Swiss, circa 1820. Fine and interesting 18K gold skeletonized quarter-repeating watch with visible repeating works.
C. Four-body, "Empire", polished back, reeded band, gilt hinged cuvette. D. White enamel chapter ring with Breguet numerals, glazed center for viewing the movement. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 47 mm., gilt skeletonized and engraved brass, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement brass balance with flat balance spring, double footed steel cock.Signed on dial and cuvette.Diam. 54 mm.
