Notes

This watch was sold by Antiquorum in the sale of the Professor Thomas Engel Collection, on November 11,1,2001, lot 314. It is rare to find a Breguet watch with original “étui” as he called the outer protective cover. It is interesting to note that the watch can be wound and regulated either from the back or from the front. The watch is described and illustrated in “The Art of Breguet”, George Daniels, London & New York, 1975, fig. 334.
