Breguet, No. 1403, sold to Monsieur Malherbe on December 26, 1873. Very fine gilt brass eight day going miniature carriage clock in original red morocco fitted case, accompanied by a certificate.

C. Rectangular with glazed all side panels and top, molded base, edges decorated with scrolling engraving, back with hinged door, hinged, corrugated handle. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic markers. Blued steel ?spade? hands. M. Rectangular, 45 x 33 mm, going barrel, platformwith lateral counterpoised lever escapement, with later monometallic balance and flat self-compensatingbalance spring.Signed on the dial and the box.Dim. 76 x 50 mm.
