Breguet et Fils, No. 3686, sold to Comte de Glasgow on May 28, 1822, for 1440 Francs. Very fine 18K gold pocket watch. Accompanied by a certificate.
C. four-body, "forme quatre baguettes", engine-turned, gold hinged cuvette. D. silver, champlevé Roman numerals, outer minute dot divisions, engine-turned center. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 42.8 mm (19''', gilt brass, fully jeweled to the center, Breguet overhanging ruby cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, blued steel flat balance spring, compensation curb, pare-chute on the top pivot.Signed on dial and cuvette.Diam. 50 mm.
