Martin-Martine ?Breguet a Paris?, Neuchatel, circa 1815. Fine 18K gold, half skeletonized quarter-repeating watch with automaton Jacks.
C. Four-body, ?bassine?, engine-turned with reeded band. Hinged gilt cuvette. D. Small white enamel, Breguet numerals. Blued steel ?Breguet? hands. ?Martin-Martine? type varicolored chased gold Jacks, on each side of the dial over the polished steel repeating work set over the frosted and gilt chased front plate, striking the hours and quarters on two bells. M. 48 mm, gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance-spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece, repeating on two gongs by depressing the pendant.Dial, cuvette and movement signed. Case stamped with case maker?s mark ?FLB? and Neuchatel gold mark.Diam. 54 mm.
