M. 35 mm (17'''), frosted gilt, ruby duplex escapement, steel cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, repeating on gongs through pull-and-turn piston in the pendant.Dial and cuvette signed.Diam. 43 mm.

Louis Recordon 1756-1826 A watchmaker originally from Sainte-Croix who settled first in Geneva and then in London, he was Breguet?s friend and agent in England. As such he was responsible for selling approximately 75 Breguet watches to the British, including some to the British Monarchy.
