C. Four-body, "Empire", by Joly, No. 1729, polished bezel, engine turned band, engine turned back with polishedborder. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, offset subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguethands. M. Frosted gilt, bar calibre, standing barrel, 13 jewels, Breguet overhanging ruby cylinder escapement,plain brass three-arm flat-rim balance, the top pivot with parachute, flat blued steel balance-spring with bimetal-liccompensation curb on the index regulator. Quarter repeating on the case with a massive polished steel singlehammer activated by depressing the pendant.Dial and cuvette signed, movement numbered.Diam. 56 mm.
