Breguet, No. 2654, sold to Monsieur Bergaud on June 25, 1942. Very fine and rare silver "hump-back", eight day going, moon phase astronomical carriage clock with perpetual calendar and power reserve indication, accompanied by the original red fitted box.
C. One piece, polished with hinged bezel and back door, standing on four bun-feet. D. Engine-turned gilt dial plate, the circular silver engine-turned dial with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring, small subsidiary chapter rings four days of the week, months of the leap-year cycle and days of the month, moon phase aperture framed by half-moon Up-and-Down scale and moon calendar. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 24"' , rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, five wheel train, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with patented micrometric index.
