Breguet, No. 74, Repetition moyenne et plate, sold to Mr. Fumeron d'Ardeuil on July 31, 1834, for 700 Francs. Fine 18K gold quarter repeating watch in original red leather fitted box.
C. Four body, "forme quartre baguettes " , engine turened "a grains d'orge", the back centred with an engraved motto: Non Mei Fiducia Sed Eius. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Silver with Roman numerals, engineturned "concentrique a rayons moires mats". Gold Breguet hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, 10 jewels, going barrel, ruby cylinder escapement, plain gilt brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with bimetallic compensation curb on the index. Repeating on gongs with pull-twist piston through the pendant. Signed on the cuvette. Diam. 46 mm.
