Breguet a Paris, Swiss, circa 1840. Fine 18K gold and enamel hunting cased, pearl and ruby set pendant watch, suspended from a brooch ribbon knot.

Four body, framed within a cast gold decorative frieze chains and tassels and fully engine-turned and and engraved in a ruby and split-pearl set Renaissance pattern enhanced with black champleve enamel. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with rocaille decoration and technical details. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 10 1/2 "' , gilt brass bar calibre with going barrel, 4 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Apocryphal signature on the cuvette. Dim. 90 x 40 mm including brooch and tassels.
