Breguet No. 1723, circa 1955. Very fine "Empire" style, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch.
C. massive, polished, reeded band, gold screwed bars, partly "guilloche " back, straight lugs, sapphire-set winding-crown. D. "guilloche" silver with painted radial Roman numerals on a plain reserve + auxiliary seconds dial. "Breguet" blued steel hands. M. 9 "' rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 18 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, 5 adjustments, antishock system, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 33 mm.
