C. Three part, cylindrical with screwed bezel, the band engraved: LP A 27. D. White enamel graduated to 60 for the inking chronograph and with off-set subsidiary small dial for the minutes register . Bluedsteel inking hand. M. 23"', brass full plate with turned pillars, going barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. The inking hand operated by a button in the band next to the Stop/Start bolt. Signed on the dial and beneath the bezel. Diam. 79 mm.

This counter is a good example of the final development of the inking chronograph as invented by Rieussec in 1821, and perfected by Raton for Breguet in 1823.
