Breguet a Paris, Swiss, circa 1800. "Surprise par son Coquin" Extremely fine large silver, silver gilt and enamel, paste-set pendant watch designed as an urn with matching chatelaine, in original red leather fitted box.
C. Double body with paste-set bezel and blue champleve enamelled decoration, chased with paste and sapphire cabochon imitations, the enamel back painted with a charming scene depicting a loving couple in a park within an oval paste set frame, over a blue enamel ground with rectangular paillonne border decoration. Matching chatelaine, decorated en suite, with an oval enamel panel painted with a maiden walking in a park with her dog running after a clove. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Pierced paste-set Louis XVI hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the dial and back plate. Dim. 100 x 50 mm.
