Notes

Originally, this “Répétition à ponts” watch movement by Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747-1823) was housed in a gold case by Amy Gros (No. 4 395). It was handed over to Monsieur Castagueda on 24 Vendemiaire, Year 11 (October 16, 1802).

The original case was replaced at an unknown date by the present one, probably made in Geneva and of more or less contemporary manufacture.
