A very fine and elegant, self-winding, 18K yellow gold wristwatch in silvered gold guilloche regulator dial with ten-minute index markers and date. Made in limited edition during 1997 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747-1997).

This exquisite timepiece, reference 1747BA was introduced in 1997 as a limited edition of 300 pieces to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Abraham-Louis Breguet’s birth in 1747. The watch features a clean and elegant dial with applied ten minute markers and the iconic blued Breguet hands. The caseback is adorned with intricate guilloché detailing, listing the names of notable Breguet owners such as Napoleon, Winston Churchill, Marie Antoinette, and Louis XVI, further emphasizing the historical significance and prestige of this model.

Consigned by the original owner family, this watch is overall preserved in excellent condition. All engravings and hallmarks remain deep and clear, while the case retains its original condition, displaying a beautiful patina that attests to its authenticity and careful preservation. The timepiece is completed with a Breguet loop and extra from the archive certificate together with a presentation box.
