BREGUET REF. 3040 SERPENTINE TRIPLE DATE PINK GOLD Breguet, "Serpentine," No. 1158, movement No. 3691, Ref. 3040. Made in 1990, sold June 4th, 1991. Very fine, astronomic, self-winding, 18K pink gold wristwatch with triple date, moon phases, age of the moon and an 18K pink gold Breguet buckle. Accompanied by the original fitted box, Certificate of Origin and setting pin.

Three-body, solid, polished, ridged band, rounded stepped bezel, straight lugs, transparent snap-on case back, screwed gold bars, cabochon sapphire-set winding-crown, sapphire crystals. Guilloche silver with painted radial Roman numerals on a plain reserve, concentric ring dial for the date, sector for the age of the moon, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases. Blued steel Breguet hands, serpentine hand for the date. Cal. 12''', copper color, 35 jewels, entirely hand engraved with scrolls, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring.
