Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 48 mm. THICKNESS 16.3 mm. The impressive and fascinating BREGUET LA MUSICALE plays the famous aria LA GAZZA LADRA by the Italian composer GIOACCHINO ROSSINI (1792-1868), it can be activated either on demand by pressing the button at 10 o'clock, or at the desired time for the alarm. This is achieved by a patented musical mechanism. A pinned disc acts on the 15 metal teeth of the comb. A metallic glass membrane amplifies the frequencies needed to emit the tune, as well as guaranteeing water resistance. To improve the sound and clarity, LA MUSICALE is fitted with the first magnetic strike governor in the history of watchmaking. This patented system is able to avoid background noise as well as the characteristic whirring typical of classic strike-governors.
