This kind of deck-watch, equipped with a chronograph, was mounted on the cockpits of fighter planes, like Jaguar, Mirage 2000 or Mirage F1. The winding-mechanism is particular because it uses an angle gear. The setting is done thanks to the bolt placed at 5 o’clock.
