Notes

Commissioned by the French Air Force to deliver 2000 watches for their pilots, the Breguet Type XX reference 5101 was the first model delivered.
Using a Valjoux 222 assembled by Matthey Tissot, the first type XX’s were assembled featuring an unsigned dial as well as a 30-min flyback chronograph and an onion crown to facilitate operations wearing gloves.
The following examples featured the Breguet signature on the dial as well as some with military engravings on the caseback confirming its end of warranty in 1964 and has remained in excellent original condition featuring a gorgeous deep brown tropical dial, it is a delightful and extremely rare all original example that will please military chronograph collectors.
