Breitling ? Minute-Repeating & Chronograph G.A.C. Equator (Breitling), Répétition à Minutes Chronographe, No. 2262. Made circa 1895. Fine, large, half-hunting-cased, keyless, minute-repeating, 18K gold pocket watch with chronograph.

C. Four-body, ?bassine?, engine-turned with polished borders, the front cover with radial blue Roman numerals and inner minute track around the aperture. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved foliate monogram over a glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel spade hands. M. Cal. 20???, frosted gilt, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial signed G.A.C. Equator. Diam. 53 mm.
