BREITLING SQUARE STAYBRITE MEDICAL CHRONOGRAPH Breitling, Swiss, case No. 455152. Made circa 1940. Fine and very rare, square, stainless steel ?Staybrite? wristwatch with square-button chronograph, pulsometer scale and register.

C. Two-body, square, polished and brushed, reeded hooded lugs, snap-on back. D. Matte beige, Arabic numerals, outer minutes and seconds track with fifths of a second divisions and Arabic five-second numerals, outermost blue pulsations scale calibrated for 20 pulsations, further outer minute track, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register. Blued steel baton hands. M. 10 ½ ```, rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed. DIAM. 33 x 26 mm. THICKNESS 10 mm.
