Breitling Genève, "Referee", Ref. 34-31. Produced circa 1972. Fine and unusual, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel football referee's wristwatch with round button chronograph and indication of the 45 minutes elapsed time of the two game-sets.
C. three-body, polished, revolving bezel graduated in 60 minutes and 12 hours, hooded lugs. D. black with tritium-coated round indexes and Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds dial on the 9, outer ring register with 45 minutes in red for the elapsed game time, aperture over the 6 indicating that the chronograph is activated. This chronograph operates on a central 60 minutes indication, stops and returns to zero by pressing the buttons. "Bâton" tritium-coated white hands, with a visible tritium rectangular element on the second hand. M. Cal. 7731, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 41 x 47 mm.
