BREITLING REF. 791 SPLIT-SECONDS CHRONO STEEL Breitling, Genève, case No. 761318, Ref. 791. Made in the 1960s. Very fine and rare, water-resistant, antimagnetic stainless steel wristwatch with round button split-seconds chronograph, registers, tachometer and stainless steel Breitling buckle.

Two-body, polished and brushed, lapidated lugs, rounded bezel, co-axial single button on the winding- crown for the split-seconds operation, screw- down case back engraved: "Waterproof, Shock-Protected, Antimagnetic." Matte silver with applied luminous Arabic numerals, black minute and 1/5th seconds track, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer black tachometer scale. Blued steel feuille hands. 13''', rhodium plated, 17 jewels, fausses cotes decoration, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
