Fine, rosewood and brass, flat white enamel Roman dial, crossed minute track, subsidiary seconds ring, signed BROCKBANKS'/& ATKINS/LONDON/872, gold hands, Earnshaw escapement, cut-bimetallic balance with three doublescrewed circular heat compensation weights, steel spring detent and blued steel helical balance, the top plate with repeat signature, brass bayonet-fixed dust cover and bowl to brass gimbal, three-tier box with drop-down handles to the sides and ivory cartouche with the marine Chronometer number.
