Diapson Tuning Fork Model Technicum Cantonal Ecole D?Horlogerie et de Microtechnique, Saint-Imier, Bulova Patent. Made in the 1980's. Fine and unusual, working model of the Bulova diapason tuning fork electric watch escapement.
C. Rectangular wooden base with glazed case, black patinated frame for the movement. D. Clear perspex with black baton indexes, seconds dial to the side. Black baton hour and minute hands, red seconds hand. M. Battery-driven, resistor panel, diapason tuning fork escapement transmitting power to the timepiece via two fine springs acting on a unidirectional wheel. Movement signed. Dim. 29 x 15 x 12 cm.
