Notes

A spectacular manual-winding skeletonized titanium vertical tourbillon wristwatch with fusée-and-chain constant force system and a dramatic three-dimensional spherical moon phase displayed under a large curved sapphire crystal. Created in 2013 by master watchmaker Eric Coudray, the renowned inventor of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon, the Luna Nera features the in-house calibre CAB-LNR with semi-jumping rotary drums. Hours, minutes, seconds and the 72-hour power reserve are clearly indicated on these drums, while the central spherical moon phase provides an observatory-style display. Limited to only 135 pieces across all metals, this titanium example No. 047/135 is a rare and architecturally bold piece of contemporary independent haute horlogerie.
