MINIATURE CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH LIMOGES ENAMEL PANELS French, No. 2072. Made circa 1900. Fine and rare, miniature, gilt-brass carriage clock with Limoges painted on enamel panels.

C. Multi-piece, ?gorge?, the top glazed to view the escapement, the side panels with fine painted on enamel panels depicting winged nymphs amongst blossom, one playing a lute, hinged and glazed back door, hinged handle. D. Matte gilt, Arabic numerals, outer minute track, translucent deep red enamel mask decorated with gilt and white enamel scrolls and flowers. M. Rectangular gilt-brass, going barrel, lateral lever escapement on a silvered platform, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. DIM. 59 x 43 x 37.5 mm. Excluding handle.
