?Perpetual Calendar? Cartier, 13 Rue de la Paix, Paris, 4 New Burlington St., London, No. 2461. Made circa 1908. Very fine and extremely rare silver and enamel manual perpetual calendar in original Cartier red morocco and gold tooled fitted box.

C. Circular silver frame with three types of engine-turning and three translucent enamels, ivory back and silver-gilt easel. D. Two concentric white enamel discs, the top one with a grid with 31 days of the month at the top and the years at the base graduated from 1908 to 1918, two sector apertures, the top one for days of the week on revolving back disc, and the lower for the months with corresponding number of days, central translucent hardstone setting button in a gold stiff-leaf mount. Case signed and numbered. Diam. 108 mm.
