"Tank Américaine" Cartier, "Tank Américaine", Automatic. Made in the 1980s. Very fine, rectangular curved, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with date and an 18K yellow gold Cartier buckle. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate.

C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, 4 screws on the band and 8 on the case back, sapphire-set octagonal winding-crown, sapphire crystal. D. "Guilloché" silver with painted radial Roman numerals, aperture for the date, secret Cartier signature. Blued steel "épée" hands. M. Cal. 200, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 20 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case, and movement signed. Dim. 26 x 44 mm. Thickness: 9 mm.
