"Tortue - Quantième Perpétuelle" Cartier Paris, "Tortue - Quantième? Perpétuelle Collection Privée", No. 037 CE, case No. 2646. Made circa 2004. Very fine, tonneau-shaped, two-time zone, self-winding, water-resistant, platinum gentleman's wristwatch with perpetual calendar and an 18K white gold Cartier deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, transparent case back with 8 screws, octagonal sapphire-set winding-crown, sapphire crystals. D. ?Guilloché? silver with painted radial Roman numerals, secret Cartier signature, subsidiary dials for the second time zone in 24 hours at 6, the day, date, month and leap year. Blued steel "Breguet" hands. M. Cal. 9421 MC, rhodium-plated, engraved with special Cartier and "oeil-de-perdrix" decoration, 26 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, 18K gold rotor with Cartier signature. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 34 X 43 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
