Mr. Paul J. Muffat was sent to New York by Louis Cartier in 1909 to serve as the right hand man of Pierre Cartier. He remained at the Direction of Cartier in New York until February 5th,1921, when he was called back to France by Louis Cartier. I-Ie became one of the top managers of Cartier in Paris, until he retired in 1955 at the age of 70. He spent his 50 year long career at the direction of the celebrated Jeweller of the rue de la Paix. This album contains mort of his dearest souvenirs, letters and pictures of clients and collaborators, newspaper cuttings, caricatures etc.
