Cartier, France, made in the 1930's. Fine and unusual, silver and gold, enamel motorist dash-board keyless eight day going watch.

Silver base with a red translucent enamel over engine-turning and a small white champleve enamel monogram "C.M.", the watch is set symmetrically below a silver medal of Saint Christopher, gold bezel and frame. D. Silver engine-turned with Roman numerals. Gold pierced hands. M. 18"', gilt brass, eight day going, 13 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dim. 158 x 55 mm.
